SECOND SCENE
This is an epic progressive rock number to rival any. Opening with a prophetic vocal warning us of the evils of intolerance, it transcends into a guitar symphony leading us on a musical journey which concludes with a rocking solo.

HOPES AND DREAMS
Built around a chord sequence played on mandolin, this is an up-tempo waltz evoking a folk rock style. It tells a contemporary tale about our age-old desire to discover if we are not alone in the universe.

DO YOU REMEMBER
A pop song recalling the feeling of invincibility we have when we are in our formative years and the optimism we have for the future. Describing the reality as responsibility and commitment force us to submit to a life in stark contrast to those dreams.

COULD THIS BE LOVE
This number attempts to describe the irresistible emotions we feel as a new love consumes us. From it's fragile opening verse, it builds to an emphatic final chorus punctuated by strings before a melodic guitar harmony fades out.

ACID FIELDS
A beautifully crafted piece of music with an unconventional structure. Delicate guitar work opens the number before a haunting vocal endeavours to create a pastiche of musical imagery. The majestic guitar solo begs to be played loud on a summer afternoon.

OLD MAN
This number reflects on the wisdom and knowledge we imagine comes with age and questions if the dreams we have in our youth are ever fulfilled. Decorative guitar and piano parts build on an introduction played on 12 string acoustic until the vocal surrenders to a triumphant guitar solo.

HIGHWAY
This tongue-in-cheek song, with some outrageous analogies for love, is tinged with country influences with it's banjo led ending. It describes love as a highway we all travel on, have very little control over, receive very little guidance on and rarely know how it will end.
YOUR LOVE
We've given this singer/songwriter number the Below the Surface treatment and added strings and a rhythm section to the chorus. It's a song which opens with the optimism of waking up to a newly found lover and closes with the realisation of the deceit they are capable of.
